My design philosophy is simple. No, really. That's it - keep it simple. I refuse to use overtly complex systems of code or software. I use HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language), which is probably the simplest Internet formatting language in existence. I also make use of CSS style sheets for consistency in formatting. The 'above-the-fold' principle states that all the most important information should be visible when the page loads, i.e. without requiring the viewer to scroll down. Admittedly sometimes this is inevitable, however many of my sites subscribe to this basic design principle. Designs are elegant, stylish, professional, simple and easy to read and digest. There is nothing worse than confusing the viewer with a cluttered, image-rich website when it's unnecessary. The website's purpose is to inform, educate or encourage purchase. Scaring the visitor off is not a good first step. All designs are conceived with loading times in mind. Another easy way to discourage return visits is having a website that takes hours to load. Everyone, regardless of race, colour, creed or internet speed needs the opportunity to read what you have to offer, and I can make this possible. Designs are usually limited to six pages or less (if possible; more pages can be accommodated). This encourages clients to keep information short, concise and appropriate, and also allows the user to digest more information quickly. It also makes for simple links between various pages. All designs include provision for contact details, copyright information and user feedback. But best of all, any and all of my designs, packages, services and sites are completely customisable to suit your individual taste or requirements. Just give me a call and we'll sort you out ASAP!
