Just a quick update to let you know that I’m still alive, contrary to what they’re spreading about me in the press. All that stuff about poisonings and clandestine dealings in dark alleyways is merely an attempt to discredit my good work in the community.

Life goes on, also. I’ve managed to secure work at Coles, packing shelves, and Video Ezy, doing video things. I move into uni accommodation in a week or so, which I’m immensely looking forward to. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog more often then too.

Until next time…

After a month or so of waiting and being far too busy to do anything apart from sleep, eat and work, I finally managed to go and see Casino Royale on Saturday. And as far as I’m concerned, the jury’s still out.

I think I’m going to have to see it again. I think that, now, I know how they all felt when Connery was replaced by Lazenby in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. And Bond is blonde! What were they thinking?

That said, however, Daniel Craig did a pretty damn fine job of playing the world’s most suave secret agent. And he actually managed to make Bond fallible, human and emotional.

So until I see it again, I’ll just say that I liked it. More in-depth analysis will follow upon second viewing.

Until next time…
