Dan Binns is a Sydney-based writer, director and producer. In 2009 he is researching and compiling an Honours thesis based on the life and work of visionary filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, to complete his Bachelor of Communication at the University of Western Sydney.
Dan has made several short films and written many screenplays. He has worked with Charles Firth from the ABC's Chaser's War on Everything on short comedy sketches for the Manic Times, and through his work with the Onion Media Group has liaised with clients as diverse as Australian Doctor, Global Bionic Optics and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Outside of film work Dan is an avid writer and photographer, cinemagoer and literary enthusiast. Many of his artistic exploits are documented on his online web-journal, Binnsy's Hovel.
